Winter Layers

We are having a delightfully mild winter this week! It has been most glorious. Almost all the snow has melted due to the low 40's we've been having. Roads and sidewalks are finally clear and I'm more inclined to walk to my destination.

Even though it's fairly mild, I still need to don the layers when the wind comes sweeping through every crack and crevice this city has. The cold wind off the lake will make a mild winter day feel like the tundra.

I am really loving the short little collars that are popping up all over the place recently. I think it's a very flattering look. An elongated neck can give a nice balance to the body.

Maybe I'll consider staying in the city a little bit longer if the winters end up being this mild, but I'm not holding my breath.
