Cowboy Shirts

After a very warm couple of weeks, the weather finally dipped into something of a fall-like chill. At least, it was cool enough to wear long sleeves and not cook yourself. As much as I love the summer, I have to say, Fall is my favorite season for fashion. Whether it's an awesome cable knit sweater, lots and lots of layers, or a killer jacket, Fall just gets me in the mood for looking and feeling fabulous!

This is another one of those shirts that's been hanging in my closet, waiting to feel the love. I suppose I've been discovering a lot of those lately. It only seems like the natural rhythm of things seeing as I've put my tank tops on repeat. But I'm glad to have discovered this little western inspired cowboy blouse for fall. I sense it'll be a perfect pairing for all of the 70's suede that's popping up everywhere. I'm totally digging that style as I'm quite enamored with that era's groove.

It's been a rough week over at my house. I'm on the hunt for a new job which requires me to do a lot of waiting (which is something I'm very bad at), the semester has started up again and the school has made my husband's job much more difficult which is more stress on him, and we're getting through a loss in the family. It's easy to hit the floor and think how it's too hard to get back up. I need to find some inspirations from the past who have grappled with troubles and come out stronger than before.

All of these cowboy photos have inspired me to head west. I'm thinking a ranch might be a fun little vacation for us. I went to one when I was in middle school and remember being awed by the landscape and serenity. It's an incredible thing to feel so isolated in such a vast expanse of the earth.

Yee haw!
